HART Outreach Activities

Compassion Leads to Progress

Our HART volunteers put together a series of regular and seasonal outreach programs to support and connect with our unhoused neighbors. We partner with the County of Sacramento and Sacramento Covered in each of our programs with a Community Health Worker onsite to provide steps forward for each individual.

Freshen Up Weekly Shower Outreach

Our weekly Thursday shower outreach in Orangevale is a collaboration with Pathway Fellowship, OV Woman's Club, and the Food Bank. We provide an opportunity to freshen up and get support on the next steps toward self-sufficiency and independence.

Midweek Meal Outreach

Volunteers provide a warm lunch and an opportunity to check in with County Healthcare Workers every week in Fair Oaks. The weekly Wednesday lunch outreach takes place at the Fair Oaks Library parking lot in the back near the grassy area.

Youth Outreach
Back Pack Drive

We coordinate with the community leaders and businesses to collect backpacks and school supplies for unhoused or housing insecure students. If you or your business would like to get involved, let's connect!

YMCA Rollingwood

YMCA Young & Safe Outreach

We are partnering with the Rollingwood YMCA and SJUSD to provide free gym memberships to homeless youth and unaccompanied minors in Fair Oaks & Orangevale.
